I recently ran into a problem with a wireless network card getting stuck while acquiring a network address.
I would get constant messages like “Acquiring Network Address” or “Renewing Your IP Address”.
Your setup may differ, but the process should be similar.
If you find any other solutions please post them in the comments below.
But it would seem to get continually search for, but never acquire a network address or renew the IP address.
Uncheck "The key is provided for me automatically" and enter and confirm your Network key.I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this issue with Windows 10?I have an old Dell Dimensions 8400 running Windows XP. I tried this tip that the article gave me, but it did not work.If the box was checked, then that was why you were getting the “unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network” message because Windows is looking for one, but your wireless router is not setup for certificate security. Once I unchecked that box and tried to reconnect to the wireless network, everything worked fine! Good afternoon, we are currently evaluating Windows 10 and are running into an issue when we try to connect to our corporate wireless network.
