I want the user to be able to add, update and delete rows of information.I've manually created 1 row of information in the SQL database just to avoid in 'catches' when the program is loaded.Things I have tried so far: Thank you for your response.I just tried your suggestion and it did saved the changes, but when i look at the database it doesn't show the update. New DBTESTConnection String),i saw the update on the database as well! You will save all changes you made, but if you sort datagridview columns first then change data then run the save code above you will miss one record, the top first one before you sort. But I want to do it using Datagrid View I already bind it to my database.
To accomplish this I have used the following events: Row Validating and User Deleting Row.I'm writing a Winforms app in C# that enables the user to edit and update database using the datagridview. The only thing that I managed to achieve is updating what the datagridview is showing, but when I go into the database table, there is no change in the data.I have search a lot of sites discussing about that problem but nothing yet worked for me.Microsoft is conducting an online survey to understand your opinion of the Msdn Web site.If you choose to participate, the online survey will be presented to you when you leave the Msdn Web site.
